These Terms & Conditions govern your account and use of MilkyWay Race (the game), including any paid access. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. Please keep a copy for your records.

If a purchase is sold by a separate merchant of record, that seller and its applicable payment terms will be identified before you pay. These terms govern use of the game; they do not replace the seller's obligations or your statutory rights.
You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are a minor, you must have the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law, including for any purchase.
Provide an email address you control, keep your login details secure, and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for your own use of the account. Do not sell, transfer, or share accounts. Choose a pilot name that does not impersonate another person, infringe anyone's rights, or contain unlawful or abusive material.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to access and play the game for your own entertainment while your account is eligible and the service is operating, subject to these terms. The game requires an internet connection and functioning servers.
Payment unlocks the access or features described at checkout. A one-time fee does not buy an eternal, perpetual, or lifetime license, ownership of the game, or a promise that servers will operate forever. Unless a specific duration is expressly promised at purchase, no minimum or indefinite operating period is guaranteed, subject always to mandatory consumer law and the reasonable expectations that law protects.
Any price, applicable taxes, access limitations, and payment conditions must be disclosed before you confirm a purchase. A one-time purchase does not by itself authorize recurring charges. Your payment provider may apply its own currency conversion charges.
Except where required by applicable law or expressly offered at purchase, payments are non-refundable, including if you stop playing, request account deletion, lose access following a justified suspension, or the service is discontinued. This policy does not remove any right to withdraw from a purchase, obtain a remedy for a faulty or unavailable service, or receive a refund or price reduction under mandatory consumer law.
Agreeing to these terms does not itself waive a statutory withdrawal right. If immediate performance of a purchase requires separate express consent or an acknowledgment concerning withdrawal rights, this must be obtained separately during checkout as required by law. Contact the seller identified on your receipt for payment or refund questions; you may also contact us for help.
We may temporarily interrupt the game for maintenance, updates, security incidents, or technical problems. We may also discontinue the game and shut down its servers at any time for technical, financial, legal, or other operational reasons, subject to applicable law and any specific commitments made at purchase.
Where reasonably possible, we will give advance notice of a permanent closure through the game or by email. Urgent circumstances may require immediate interruption or closure. Once servers close, access to the game, paid features, and saved progress may end permanently; there is no promise of an offline version or replacement service.
Server closure does not create a contractual right to a refund or compensation for amounts already paid, except to the extent required by applicable law or an express purchase commitment. In particular, this clause cannot exclude mandatory refunds or other remedies for a failure to supply the service as legally required.

We may update the game to fix defects, improve security, balance gameplay, or develop features. Scores, rankings, progress, and virtual items have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money. They do not confer ownership of server data or a right to continued availability.
Technical faults, necessary resets, or justified action against cheating may affect progress or scores. We will take reasonable care in operating the game. For paid access, changes and resets remain subject to applicable consumer law; any notice, continued access, termination, or refund rights required by that law are preserved.
We may restrict, suspend, or close an account where reasonably necessary to address a serious or repeated breach of these terms, fraud, security risks, or a legal requirement. We will act proportionately and, where reasonably possible, explain the reason and give an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be necessary to protect players or the service. Contact us if you believe a decision is mistaken.
You may stop using the game at any time or request account deletion by email. Deletion ends access associated with that account, including paid access, subject to any statutory refund rights. Data handling is explained in the Privacy Policy.
The game and its software, artwork, and other content are protected by intellectual property law and belong to their respective owners. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit them without permission, except as permitted by law or an applicable license. These terms do not restrict rights granted under separate open-source or third-party licenses.
Our Privacy Policy explains how account information and game data are processed and how you can exercise your data protection rights. Acknowledging that policy is not consent to marketing or a waiver of those rights.
We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, a particular score or outcome, or compatibility with every device. You are responsible for your internet connection and equipment. Any mandatory standards of quality, supply, security, and conformity under applicable law still apply.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when this agreement was made, or for business losses arising from personal use of the game. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
We may revise these terms for valid reasons such as changes in law, security requirements, or the operation of the game. The current version will be available through the game. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes where possible and obtain renewed agreement where required. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights or override commitments made at purchase. If you do not accept a material change, contact us about ending your use and any rights available under applicable law.
Swedish law governs this agreement, without depriving you of mandatory consumer protections in your country of habitual residence where those apply. You may bring a dispute before any court competent under applicable law; these terms do not require you to use only Swedish courts.
